Our Lodge is located 97 km from Iquitos next to the little
Rio Tapira. It takes about two hours by boat to reach the
lodge which is in the middle of a nature paradise. In 2006
a new lodge, built the traditional way was opened. The construction
of wood and other natural materials was done in harmony
with the nature as far as possible. Currently we have room
for 40 people in rooms with private bathrooms or shared
bathrooms. The halls, the dining area, the rooms and all
other facilities are lightened by simple lamps. We have
no electricity except a generator which is used for the
water pump exclusively. Our guests should have the maximum
nature experience. We organize eco-cultural activities in
our area in order to promote a lasting tourism. Our location
is perfect in order to go on hiking- trips through the primary
jungle, go piranha fishing, or just go on tours to spot
exotic animals such as slothes, caimans, pink and grey dolphins,
reptiles, all sorts of apes birds and of course the fauna
with its impressive trees and plants such as the giant water
lilies. Besides that we are visiting a little jungle village
with which we do many cooperation projects.
